The new mono packaging made of paper from the roll for potatoes. Can be used on all vertically and horizontally operating, conventional tubular bag machines.
Paper is very popular with consumers. For this reason, cartomat developed cartoPaper®. A revolutionary paper packaging for potatoes, onions, flower bulbs and other agricultural products. These sensitive products place high demands on packaging in terms of processing and shelf life. cartoPaper® meets these requirements: thanks to a special spot coating, the paper bags are suitable for fully automatic processing and the high-quality properties of the paper ensure that the packaged products remain in ideal condition.
Machine

(small packs of 500 g, 1 kg, 1.5 kg, 2 kg and 2.5 kg can be processed without conversion) - 30 - 60 cycles per minute
The packaging is suitable for fully automatic vertical forming, filling and closing machines. The packaging is available for a maximum filling weight of 2.5 kg. The machine is relatively easy to adjust, which means that it can process cartoPaper® as well as plastic. We can help you with this if required.
Horizontal packaging (pillow pack) enables gentle packaging of fruit and vegetables on all heat-sealing machines at high cycle rates. The packaging is made of 100% paper and is available perforated or with a cellulose net. The products can be packed in trays on all flow-pack machines.

CartoPaper ® is FSC ® certified (C146465) and made from 100% renewable raw materials. The spot coating enables paper to be welded. The content is so low (<5%) that the material dissolves during the paper recycling process. cartoPaper® is therefore approved as a mono-material and can be disposed of in waste paper after use. In this way, we promote recycling systems.

The specially developed paper is wet-strength. This means that the material is moisture-resistant and non-absorbent. This means that hardly any moisture is extracted from the product and it does not dry out. Paper is also a naturally breathable and lightproof material. These qualities are essential for the freshness of products.
The bag has a viewing window with large rosette-shaped holes so that the consumer can see the products clearly. The paper is also very tear-resistant. With cartoPaper® the products remain well protected and in excellent quality.

A new innovation, made from an ancient source, HEMP. The exceptionally long hemp fibers make this paper tear-resistant and wet-strength. The raw material is grown regionally and processed into paper, a very CO2-friendly cycle.

Tear-resistant, 19 mm wide tape on a roll for marking clipper nets
